Kara is dedicated to by creating pathways to new, rewarding jobs that empower families and honor the spirit of solidarity, ensuring that every Valley resident can pursue the American dream with dignity and respect

Kara has been a fighter for:

• Expanding requirements for prevailage wages to be paid to workers in the trades
• Protecting workers by instituting consequences for construction subcontractors that participate in wage theft
• Partnering with unions to create construction jobs on housing development projects
• Creating STEM pathways for High School students to prepare them for a 21st Century job market
• An assisstance program for first-responders, aiding them in buying their homes
• Supporting striking workers in their fight to secure unemployment insurance for striking workers that have been on strike for over two consecutive race
• Ensuring full workers compensation for nurses, teachers & paraeducators hurt on the job

Kara continues to be fighter for our children, whether in pursuing funding for local youth programming or the
